Design Center is a interior design center in Boca Raton, Florida
and serves clientele in South Florida. Brightworks Interactive
helped Martin Design Center re-start lapsed relationships
with the local design community and homeowners
Martin Design Center had recently been purchased by new owners,
Maria and Lope Mendoza. The Mendoza’s expected that
sales from current customers would be steady since they had
purchased a pre-existing business. However, due to limited
marketing and merchandising by the previous owner in the prior
year, sales were significantly less than expected.
The Mendoza’s hired Brightworks Interactive to develop
and execute a marketing plan that would “re-launch”
the business. In addition, the Mendoza’s needed to sell
existing furniture in the show room to make room for new merchandise.
Brightworks Interactive developed a multimedia approach,
leveraging direct mail and magazine advertisements to target
interior designers as well as homeowners. Creative executions
were developed to create a sophisticated look and feel for
the client.
Through low cost media vehicles and effective targeting,
Brightworks Interactive re-launched Martin Design Center,
communicating a theme of the new ownership, new styles, yet
old-fashioned service. Even in a difficult economic environment,
business accelerated due to increased exposure and unique
merchandising.
